Her Expertise
Dr. Brigitte Rolfe is a Board-Certified Neurologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is also licensed as a Qualified Medical Evaluator in the state of California. She provides comprehensive care across a wide range of neurological conditions, with particular expertise in movement disorders and stroke. Her experience also includes traumatic brain injury, headache syndromes, cognitive disorders, epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, demyelinating disorders, and other complex conditions of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.
Her Neurology Training
She completed her neurology residency at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by a fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of Southern California (USC).
Her Real World Experience
Dr. Rolfe began her career with Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco before joining Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center (RLANRC), one of the nation’s leading neurorehabilitation centers. At RLANRC, she expanded movement disorder services for the Los Angeles Department of Health Services, led botulinum toxin and general neurology clinics, and cared for patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury, while consulting on inpatient cases across a large and diverse population. Dr. Rolfe also has extensive experience in teleneurology, providing real-time consultations for hospitals nationwide through Access TeleCare (formerly SOC Telemed), where she managed a broad range of acute neurological emergencies. She currently provides neurological consultations, treatment and medical-legal evaluations, focusing on thoughtful, individualized care, whether in-person or via telemedicine. As a medical-legal evaluator, she is recognized for delivering objective, comprehensive assessments and clear, defensible reports.
