What is Neurowellness?

Thoughtful neurological care focused on long-term brain health

Neurowellness visits are designed to slow things down, listen carefully, and help you understand how your brain functions within the context of your life and habits.

Neurowellness is not a trend, and it’s not a checklist of supplements or quick fixes.

It is a medically grounded, neurologist-led approach to understanding brain health, cognitive clarity, and neurological well-being.

Neurowellness is the practice of proactively caring for your brain’s health to improve how you think, feel, and perform. It’s the “fitness” version of mental health; instead of just treating symptoms, it focuses on strengthening the brain’s resilience, focus, and emotional balance.  Neurovascular health is a major component of neurowellness.

Why a Focus on Neurovascular Health?

The brain is only as healthy as the vessels that feed it.  A stroke occurs when the brain’s blood supply is interrupted.  Healthy vessels = Lower risk. It is the most effective way to prevent a stroke.  Vascular health is also a critical component of dementia prevention.

What to Expect From a Neurowellness Visit

Neurowellness visits are unrushed, one-on-one conversations focused on understanding how your brain is functioning, not just clinically, but in the context of your daily life.

The Brain Café

Some patients benefit from a more conversational space to learn, reflect, and ask questions about brain health.

Future offerings may include small group discussions and guided sessions, thoughtfully moderated and focused on education, support, and shared experience.

Practical Information

Neurowellness visits are typically conducted remotely via secure telemedicine.

Services are cash-pay only. Patients may seek reimbursement from a non-Medicare insurance provider; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
